Saudi Arabia is Building The End Time City of Babylon

In this article, you will see proof that Rome, New York City, and the United States of America do not fit the biblical description of the end time city of Babylon. And you will also see solid proof that Saudi Arabia is building the city of Babylon. Please read the entire article to examine all of the proof.

On Oct. 24-25, 2017, Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, announced to the world that Saudi Arabia is building a high tech metropolis called NEOM. If allowed to come to completion, it will be 33 times larger than New York City! New Jerusalem of Revelation 21 will be 2,225 km. Source
If allowed to be completed, NEOM would be 26,500 km, (10,230 square miles) almost 12 times larger than New Jerusalem! It will be the real life version of "The Jetsons" cartoon. Supposedly, no shopping centers, malls or stores will be built in this new modern city. Everything you need will be delivered to your door by robots or drones. The city will feature driverless cars and even flying cars. Supposedly, the city will be entirely powered by solar panels and windmills. This is the dream of Google and many other promoters of highly advanced technology.
It is to be located in northern Saudi Arabia and will cross the borders of Jordan & Egypt. It is highly possible that they will demand land from Israel for this city. They are already building this city of NEOM, which perhaps we should call "Babylon". They have already laid some of the infrastructure, as well as built an airport for the incoming construction workers. The land borders the Red Sea, a major shipping route.
In this article, I will share many reasons why I suspect that this could be the end time great city of Babylon of the Book of Revelation, chapters 17-18.

Revelation 17 (KJV)
:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. (The word "wilderness" in the bible does not refer to jungles & woods, but rather to desert & uninhabited places. For example, the desert in the region of Jerusalem is still called today "The Judean Wilderness".)
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: (The Saudi Royal family is one of the most wealthy families on the planet, and perhaps the most wealthy.)
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth. (Mystery Babylon is more than a city. It is all false religion which descended from Nimrod & Asshur who built the first city of Babylon. The city of Babylon must be connected with false religion.)
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (The city of Babylon must be a leading city & nation of Christian persecution. America is not a leading nation of Christian persecution.)
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
(There are 7 empires that must rule in this location of Babylon. USA does not fit that description.)
(It's clear in these verses that "7 mountains" actually refer primarily to 7 empires throughout time, with an end time revival of one of the empires. But it is generally also accepted as being literally 7 mountains also. New York City is not located on 7 mountains, nor 7 hills.)

3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood (A north African tree. There is not a demand for this type of wood in America. Neither does America export it. This indicates an African or middle eastern city of Babylon), and all manner vessels of ivory (Selling of new ivory is illegal in America, so Babylon cannot be the USA, nor New York City), and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense (Growing of Frankincense in the USA is extremely rare. And the use of it is also rare in the USA compared to the middle east, Asia and Africa), and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men. (It is the nations of Syria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia and China that will be importing American slaves after the destruction of America.)
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate. (Americans do not throw dust on our heads. This is a middle eastern custom.)
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth. (America has never been responsible for the blood of saints and prophets. That crime was committed by Mecca, Rome, Assyria and Saudi Arabia.)

Why Rome Cannot Be The End Time City of Babylon

Lots of people believe that the great city of Babylon of the end times is the city of Rome, or the Vatican. The Vatican is both a city and a nation of its own & it fits the requirement of murdering the apostles & prophets of Jesus Christ. But the Vatican is not a major worldwide shipping port.

When we think of the world's major shipping ports and great cities of worldwide commerce, we typically think of New York City, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. Yet China, Hong Kong and Singapore don't have any historical connection with the bible, apostles & prophets. I don't usually think of Rome or Italy being one of the world's most important seaports or centers of trade & merchandise. However, I discovered in my research that it currently exports twice as much as Saudi Arabia. But Saudi Arabia exports more oil than Rome or Italy. Saudi Arabia is increasing in other exports & is predicting a huge increase in other exports/imports with the development of NEOM.

After the manifestation of the Islamic 12th Imam Mahdi, the "antichrist" (Son of Perdition), pilgrims to Mecca will surely increase and so will business, merchandise, trade and exports and imports for Saudi Arabia. We can't look only at current conditions alone. We must think of future conditions.

The city of Babylon must fit all of the following major requirements:
1. A major shipping port,
2. Extremely important to end time worldwide commerce,
3. A connection historically to the persecution/martyrdom of Christians (Followers of Jesus),
4. Be in the desert & not occupied for a long time, (Isa.13 & Isa. 34). Rome doesn't fit this description.
5. Be a large, middle eastern city, because the bible is a middle eastern book. The original Babylon was in the middle east. The Persian Empire, Greek Empire & and Roman Empire, were all descendants/revivals of ancient Babylon. There's nothing in the bible to indicate that the end time Babylon would move completely to an entirely different region of the world.
6. Be located in the same location as all of the following empires: The Neo-Babylonian Empire of Nebuchadnezzar, Medo-Persian Empire, Greek Empire and the Roman Empire.
Surprise: The map below shows that Rome & Italy were not located in the Neo-Babylonian Empire of the book of Daniel! Italy is not on this map. Italy is more west. To be "Babylon", it must be located in the ancient kingdom of Babylon! Rome & Italy were not part of the Babylonian Empire!
Therefore, the teaching that Rome or the Vatican is the end time city of Babylon, is hereby refuted! However, you can click here to see proof that Rome, the Vatican and the Catholic Church are a major part of spiritual Babylon.

Babylonian Epire

Babylon Cannot be New York City, nor the United States of America.

Many people believe Babylon is the USA. But it's totally impossible for the following reasons:
1. America is part of the 12 tribes of Israel. The bible is clear that Babylon is the enemy of Israel. America is not the enemy of Israel. (Click here for proof that America is part of Israel.)
2. America is not in the middle east. But Babylon is. Read the book of Daniel and notice that all of the empires listed were in the middle east.
3. The USA will be mostly destroyed in the early part of the time of the great tribulation. Ezekiel 38 (Remember that the USA is part of physical Israel). But Babylon doesn't get destroyed until after the great tribulation is completely over and on the very last day of The Wrath of God, on the very day of the Battle of Armageddon, when Jesus comes back. 4. During World War 3 (The Gog Magog War of Ezek.38) there will be nuclear exchange between the USA, Russia & China. Therefore, there will thereafter be a huge reduction in trade & merchandise, imports & exports, from & to the USA and China. Saudi Arabia is already preparing to be able to take the new lead in world trade.
5. The United States of America is not responsible for the blood of saints and prophets as required by Rev.18:20, 24.
6. America has not been ruled by 7 empires as required by Rev.17:10.
7. Although NYC and USA imports and exports many of the merchandise listed in Rev.18, there are several Asian, African and middle eastern cities that better fit the description of a city that imports/exports Frankincense, silk, ivory, middle eastern wood, etc.
8. Americans do not throw dust on their heads. That's a description of middle eastern Muslims and Jews. Rev.18:19.
Therefore, the teaching that New York City or the USA is Babylon, is hereby refuted!

Where Was Babylon?

The exact location of the original city of Babylon and of the Tower of Babel is not known. However, we know that it was in the middle east. The original city was not completely built because God destroyed it before men could finish building it. However, later, men built a new city of Babylon in a different location near modern Baghdad, Iraq. Then eventually the city fell into disrepair and they built the city of Baghdad as the new city of Babylon. Therefore the location of Babylon has moved more than once. It stands to reason that the end time city of Babylon could also be in a new location. In fact, "NEOM" stands for Neo-Mustaqbal (New Future).

Ancient Edom/Esau is New Babylon

People usually think of Babylon being in Iraq, but Iraq is not a major player in the world economy other than oil alone. The following bible verses leads me to conclude that the ancient land of Edom (not just Jordan, but Saudi Arabia) could be the end time, future Babylon, which mirrors the original concept of Babylon & probably the location of the original Babylon of Genesis 11, before it eventually was built in Iraq.

Isaiah 34 (KJV)
:1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
2 For the indignation (wrath) of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree. (Very clearly, end time coming of Jesus.)
5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea (Edom/Neom), and upon the people of my curse, to judgment. (Most people agree that Edom is Jordan & northern Saudi Arabia, the exact location of Neom. See maps below.)
6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea (Edom/Neom).
7 And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
8 For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. (Edom/Esau/Babylon is the enemy of the Zionists.)
9 And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch (burning oil).
10 It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever. (Edom/Babylon was destroyed & uninhabited for generations. Many times, the Hebrew/Greek words for "for ever" actually only means "until its end". Much of the land of NEOM is uninhabited desert land.)
11 But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven (unclean birds Rev.18:2) shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes (prince of Saudi Arabia) shall be nothing.
13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island (seaport city), and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
16 Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
17 And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.

Isaiah 13
:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.
5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.
7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.
9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. (Very clearly in end time. This is not talking primarily about the ancient destructions of Babylon, but rather the end time destruction.)
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. (Neom is being built out of pride.)
12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.
13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. (Very clearly end time imagery.)
14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land.
15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. (Iran/Medes were in ancient invasions of Saudi Arabia & could be again.)
18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.
19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (Syria, Jordan & Saudi Arabia is the land of the Chaldees.)
20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fold there. (A ceasing of the Arabs pitching tents there. It therefore must be Arab land.)
21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there.
22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses, and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her days shall not be prolonged.

Many websites show the ancient land of Edom in the location of Jordan and just south of the current border of Jordan & south of Israel. However, Ezek.25:13-14 describes Edom as being much larger, from Teman/Yemen to Dedan which is much of today's Saudi Arabia. The shaded pink/red area shows what most websites are declaring as the land of the new city of NEOM. But the prince of Jordan and the news outlets are reporting that the city of NEOM will be much larger than what most maps on other websites are showing. It's going to extend into Jordan and Egypt as shown by the pink/red lines extending from the pink shaded area. Plus, it will probably also extend much farther south, even more south than shown on this map because it will probably also connect to Mecca.

The Black Stone of Mecca & the Mecca Clock

South of NEOM is Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is the location of both the Mecca Clock & the Black Stone of Mecca, both extremely important to end time prophecy.

Rev 13:15 "And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed".

In Islamic tradition authenticated by At-Tirmidi, Al-Abani notes:

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbaas said: "The Messenger of Allah said concerning the Stone:
'By Allaah, Allaah will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favour of those who touched it in sincerity.' Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 961; Ibn Maajah, 2944
This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi, and as qawiy by al-Haafiz ibn Hajar in Fath al-Baari, 3/462

It is believed by Muslims that you receive forgiveness of sins by touching the black stone. It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allah... say: "Touching them both [the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani] is an expiation for sins." (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 959. This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi and as saheeh by al-Haakim (1/664). Al-Dhahabi agreed with him).

The black stone is in the corner of their Mecca temple. We know that Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone!

Tareekh Baghdad by Al-Khatib (6/328), "Al-'ilal Al-Mutanahiya (2/944): "The Black Stone is Allah's right hand on earth with which He shakes the hands of His slaves."

The Stone is roughly 30 cm (12 in.) in diameter. It is the eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba, the ancient sacred stone building towards which Muslims pray, in the center of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. According to Islamic tradition, the Stone fell from Heaven.

Mecca Clock Tower
Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think (Aramaic word to intend, to hope. Doesn't say he will be successful in doing this, but doesn't say he won't be successful either) to change times (GMT to Mecca time) and laws (Sharia Law & the halal mark): and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

In 2012, Saudi Arabia built the Mecca Clock Tower which they intend to use to change all time zones around the world! Their goal is to make Neom & Mecca, the location of the international UTC, Universal Time, and change all other zones accordingly. Originally, mankind's first attempt at building the city of Babylon, included the "Tower of Babel" in Genesis 11. Today, the Mecca Clock Tower is the 3rd tallest building in the world. Just north of Mecca, is the city of Jeddah, where they are actively building what will be the tallest building in the world. Land of 7 Mountains

Rev.17:9 "And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth."

It's very possible that the "7 mountains" might be symbolically referring to 7 empires throughout time. But in addition to that, it could also be speaking literally as well. There are many mountains in Saudi Arabia, including in the land area of NEOM. But when I pulled up the map (below) of Saudi Arabia, I was shocked to see that the map shows 7 main mountain peaks in Saudi Arabia. Look near the border of Jordan for "2,580 m". Then go south from there and count how many mountain peaks are high enough to be listed complete with height. Exactly Seven! In addition to this, NEOM will be the 7th modern city they have built in recent years, & it's my belief that NEOM could connect all 7 cities together in its effort to be 33 times larger than NYC and 12x larger than New Jerusalem. Perhaps it's 7 empires and 7 cities and 7 literal mountains! Neom fits all of this!
The original settlement of Rome was developed on seven hills: the Aventine Hill, the Caelian Hill, the Capitoline Hill, the Esquiline Hill, the Palatine Hill, the Quirinal Hill, and the Viminal Hill. However, those are hills & not mountains.

Not Enough Time to Build A City 33 Times Larger Than New York? That's More Reason to Believe this!

For those of us who realize that we don't have a long time to wait for the beginning of the great tribulation, and then eventually the coming of Jesus, it may seem to us that it might be impossible for them to finish building this large of a city. However, that's even more reason to believe that this could be the real, end time city of Babylon! Genesis 11 indicates that the first city of Babylon was never finished! God destroyed it during their construction! It would be extremely appropriate for God to also destroy the end time city of Babylon during construction just like He did originally. The original destruction of the original and first Babylon, could be a major foreshadowing and clue of end time events!

Saudi Arabia's Ability & Experience at Building New Cities

Riyadh is the capital and most populous city of Saudi Arabia. It is situated in the center of the Arabian Peninsula on a large plateau and home to more than six million people. So it's already a major center of business. Jeddah & Mecca are also already large centers of merchandise & money. Jeddah is the largest sea port on the Red Sea and has with a population of about 2.8 million people (as of 2017). Jeddah is Saudi Arabia's commercial capital & is also the gateway to Mecca.

Construction on Neom has already started by establishing some critical infrastructure, plus the already existing cities in the area would be integrated into the new metro region. Another Reason To Believe This: False Prophets Were Slow to Report It!

The conspiracy theory websites with thousands and millions of followers are not yet picking up on this huge story! The false prophets usually are up and running with a new article within 5 minutes of any news that they could possibly use to proclaim their false prophecies. I have searched & searched and yet I could not yet find any false prophet conspiracy people claiming that this is Babylon. Usually whatever the truth is, the false prophets don't pick up on it. Usually it's mostly only the false theories and false teachings that they publish. So for no false prophet or conspiracy frantic to yet publish this, makes me believe it even more.

Saudi Arabia is Building Babylon Around Mount Sinai

The following video proves the location of Mt. Sinai & where Moses & the Israelites traveled. Surely, due to the height of the mountain, they won't actually build upon the actual spot where Jesus gave the 10 Commandments to Moses. But nevertheless, they probably will destroy much of the historical & archaeological record! The prince of Saudi Arabia said that there are "historical sites" within the location of NEOM.

There is nothing in the bible that indicates that the Son of Perdition will begin the building of the end time city of Babylon. But the bible does teach that the antichrist will take over every nation in the world. The building of the end time city of Babylon could threaten holy Mt. Sinai. News reports in January 2019 indicate concern that Saudi Arabia could do damage to the site of where The Almighty gave the 10 commandments. (Source.) Of course, The Almighty might not allow the total destruction of the holy mountain. But that doesn't mean that there isn't any importance to this news report. It's possible that perhaps Saudi Arabia could build all around Mt. Sinai, while keeping the mountain in its plan of bulldozing and constructing more of the city, and perhaps that would be the last straw, and perhaps Jesus could return at the last moment, just in time to save both the mountain and humanity at the same time.
