Unclean Meats or Provision for the Great Tribulation?

(Last edited/updated August 2015. Originally written between 2009-2012.)

Please pray first, then read the whole article, then pray again and go on a fast to seek the truth!
I personally did not eat pork or anything that the old testament listed as unclean for 22-24 years! But The Holy Spirit and the scriptures kept giving me doubts that I really understood the truth on this issue. Then as I continued to pray and read the bible, The Holy Spirit opened my eyes to the scriptures and corrected me on this matter. In this article, I will present total 100% solid undeniable, irrefutable proof that Jesus cleansed all animal meats and that they are acceptable for food. It will be a major challenge for many who have been taught otherwise by mankind but it is very important that we come to the truth of this matter! I ask that you read the entire article and consider all of the evidence that I present and that you take this matter into fasting if need be!

Peter's Vision:
Acts 10:9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
(It is very important to understand that Peter was hungry. He was in need of eating food.)
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: (The Greek word for "vessel" is Strong's #G4632 - skeuos, which can mean the tackle and armament of vessels, used specifically of sails and ropes. It does not make sense for this to be a sheet with animals in it. Animals are held by cages and nets/ropes/chains. Not sheets of cloth. The Almighty would reveal things to Peter in a way that Peter could understand and relate to. Peter was a fisherman who worked on ships. The Greek word for "sheet" is Strong's #G3607 - othone, which can refer to linen but also to sails. Placing the two Greek words together in the same sentence in the context of being spoken to a fisherman, and speaking of holding animals, it is very clear that it is a net.)
12 Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
(Peter recognized these beasts as what he considered as unclean animals. see vs. 14)
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
(Peter was hungry and The Almighty told Peter to kill and eat these animals!)
(The Almighty need not tell Peter to kill and eat gentiles!)

14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
(What did Peter call unclean? Answer: The animals that The Almighty told him to kill and eat! Peter was not calling Gentiles unclean. He was calling the animals unclean.)
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
(Peter called the animals unclean. The Almighty told Peter to not call them unclean. This is as clear as day! The Almighty corrected Peter! The Almighty told Peter that these animals were no longer unclean, rather that He had cleansed them! It cannot be more clear.)
16 This was done thrice,: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Did you read the above scriptures in your personal paperback/hardback bible today or just only on this website?
If only online, I encourage you to please open your bible and read these verses both on our website and in your bible. There is power in reading the real bible. Also, did you pray before beginning to read about this specific subject today? If not, I encourage you to take the time now to pray for understanding of truth.

It's very important to notice that The Almighty told Peter this 3 times. And remember that Peter saw these animals in a fishing net. Then, let's examine John 21.

John 21
1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.
3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No.
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
(This was such a large number of fish that it would be ignorant to think that every fish caught in the net was considered "clean" in the old testament. Notice also the presence of fish in the net just as we also saw a multitude of animals in the net in Peter's vision in Acts 10. )
7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.
(This verse shows that Peter was not perfect. He was not God in the flesh. He was capable of making mistakes, even as we also see when Peter lied 3 times when he said that he did not know Jesus.)
8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.
9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.
(Jesus made them breakfast! It's very important to see the context of food in this chapter! Fish in the net plus the fact that Jesus made them breakfast.)
10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.
12 Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.
13 Jesus then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.
14 This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.
(It must be important that the scriptures had to tell us that it was the third time that Jesus appeared to the disciples after the Resurrection, even as the net was raised and lowered three times in Peter's vision.)
15 So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love (Peter responded with a Greek word that means less of a love than what Jesus had asked for) thee. He saith unto him, feed my lambs.
(While most people consider this to only mean spiritually. We must see the context of food. The disciples had caught fish and Jesus had prepared breakfast. Jesus was telling Peter, that even as Jesus had literally fed the people, that Peter too was to literally let the people eat!)
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Jesus said feed my sheep three times, on the third time that He had appeared to them after the Resurrection. No coincidence. The repeated pattern of 3 was to connect John 21 with Acts 10 where the net of animals was raised and lowered three times. We cannot ignore this connection.

Peter denied Christ three 3 times in John 18, each time, the rooster crowed! That was a foreshadowing of Not only did Peter deny Christ 3 times in the Gospels, but now Peter denied Christ 3 more times, concerning Who Christ is and His Power to cleanse both man and beast. Also in John 21:15-17 Christ appeared to the disciples the third time and told Peter 3 times to feed His Sheep! You may say that Christ was talking Spiritually. Indeed He was! But He was also talking physically! Notice that Christ told Peter to feed His Sheep immediately after Christ had Himself cooked a meal for the disciples! John 21:1-13. Also notice this was the 3rd time Christ had appeared to the disciples after His Resurrection! (verse 14) Wow! What Amazing Spiritual Meat this is! Notice again in Acts 10:10 that Peter was hungry! Jesus is telling Peter there is no need to be hungry! Arise, kill and eat what The Almighty God has provided!

Many people say that Peter explained later that the dream meant that the Gentiles have been cleansed. That is true. The Almighty definitely did cleanse Gentiles and was showing Peter such. However, Peter did not fully understand the dream. He only seen one side of the coin, so to speak. Peter was a selective hearer (Mark 8:27-38). The meaning of the dream/vision is dual. The Gentiles have been cleansed and that the animals have been cleansed! It is true that the scriptures do not say that Peter did not understand the full meaning of the dream. But we can come to that accurate conclusion by reading all of the scriptures with the help of The Holy Spirit.
Peter was already staying with a tanner. A tanner worked with the skins of dead animals. Those of the circumcision (those that believed they were still under the old covenant ceremonial unclean food laws) considered the tanner as a unclean man because he ate and touched "unclean" animals. Thus they also considered Peter as unclean by lodging with this man. But clearly God was already working with Peter about both Gentiles and animals! Peter had also witnessed Jesus having Mercy on many Gentiles even Healing many of them. Peter understood part of the meaning of the vision. He understood that Christ cleansed Gentiles when He died on the cross/stake. But Peter did not yet fully understand the full meaning of the dream. (Confirmed)
Notice again that Peter did accept that Christ cleansed the Gentiles. Gentiles do not follow the Levitical ceremonial food laws of the old covenant. They do eat pork! According to the old covenant, even touching pork would make a person unclean. Yet Peter accepted that these pork eating gentiles had been cleansed! How is that possible? It is only possible, only if and because of, that Christ did cleanse all animals!

When did Christ cleanse animals? Answer: In Mark 7:19
Mark 7:19 (New American Standard Bible) "because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach, and is eliminated?” Thus He declared all foods clean."
(The Almighty showed me that the NASB is more accurate than KJV. Click to see undeniable proof.)

While He was on Earth, as God in the flesh, He verbally declared all foods clean. Even as He created all things with His Word, He also cleansed these animals with His Word. Then, Christ sealed it with His Blood at His Death, when He became the Passover Lamb, thus removing the need for sacrificial animals as well as removing our sins and the penalty for our sins. Zondervan KJV Study Bible has this note for Lev. 11:2; "The main reason for laws concerning clean and unclean food is the same as for other laws concerning clean and unclean. To preserve the sanctity of Israel as God's Holy People (see. v. 44)... uncleanness typified sin & defilement." Since Christ Jesus became the Passover Lamb sacrificed for our sins, animals no longer represent/typify sin, because the old covenant of animal sacrifice was replaced by Christ, our High Priest, who did what no other priest could do. Therefore animals no longer need to represent the clean and unclean because physical animals are not part of the New Covenant. Acts 11:3 shows Peter ate with the Gentiles. The Gentiles did not follow the old covenant rules of food preparation.

Let's notice the Words of Jesus:
Matt.15:11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Romans 14:14 Nothing unclean (Gk: common) of itself.
"I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean".
:15 But if thy brother be grieved with [thy] meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
:16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
:18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
:19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
:20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
(I ask "does any meat destroy the work of God? I would have to answer no.)
:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy [is] he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because [he eateth] not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

1 Tim. 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

Matthew 23:24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel. (go to great lengths to avoid certain products with certain hidden ingredients)

Col. 2:20-22 Perish with the using like in Matt. 15 & Mark 7!
"20 Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
21 Touch not; taste not; handle not;
22 Which all are to perish with the using; after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Notice Matthew Henry Commentary on Colossians 2:20-23:
"III. He takes occasion hence to warn them again: "Wherefore, if you be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are you subject to ordinances? v. 20. If as Christians you are dead to the observances of the ceremonial law, why are you subject to them? Such observances as, Touch not, taste not, handle not,’ v. 21, 22. Under the law there was a ceremonial pollution contracted by touching a dead body, or any thing offered to an idol; or by tasting any forbidden meats, etc., which all are to perish with the using, having no intrinsic worth in themselves to support them, and those who used them saw them perishing and passing away; or, which tend to corrupt the Christian faith, having no other authority than the traditions and injunctions of men.—Which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will-worship and humility. They thought themselves wiser than their neighbours, in observing the law of Moses together with the gospel of Christ, that they might be sure in the one, at least, to be in the right; but, alas! it was but a show of wisdom, a mere invention and pretence. So they seem to neglect the body, by abstaining from such and such meats, and mortifying their bodily pleasures and appetites; but there is nothing of true devotion in these things, for the gospel teaches us to worship God in spirit and truth and not by ritual observances, and through the mediation of Christ alone and not of any angels. Observe, 1. Christians are freed by Christ from the ritual observances of Mose's law, and delivered from that yoke of bondage which God himself had laid upon them. 2. Subjection to ordinances, or human appointments in the worship of God, is highly blamable, and contrary to the freedom and liberty of the gospel. The apostle requires Christians to stand fast in the liberty with which Christ hath made them free, and not to be entangled again with the yoke of bondage, Gal. 5:1. And the imposition of them is invading the authority of Christ, the head of the church, and introducing another law of commandments contained in ordinances, when Christ has abolished the old one, Eph. 2:15. 3. Such things have only a show of wisdom, but are really folly. It is true wisdom to keep close to the appointments of the gospel, and an entire subjection to Christ, the only head of the church." End quote from Matthew Henry.

IMPORTANT:
The Almighty Eternal Creator has now told me and confirmed to me that the fact that He did cleanse all meats, will grant us more food during the Great Tribulation. Many people will be eating pork, possum, rabbit and other meats. This is a provision. It is a good provision. Every good and perfect gift comes from above. Let nothing be turned down but rather everything accepted in Thanksgiving (1 Tim. 4:3). Will you speak against the Manna? Don't be like Peter and deny Christ (refuse Christ's Provision) but rather accept with Thanksgiving!
During the Great Tribulation, when you might see squirrels, ground hogs, rabbits and other animals all around you and The Almighty tells you to arise, kill and eat, will you deny the cleansing power of the Blood of Christ and say, "Not so, for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean"?

UPDATE: Divine Confirmation:
In 2009, I had been praying about whether Christ wanted me to tell people the story of the tortoise (or snail) and the hare/rabbit, in order to teach them to prepare for the Great Tribulation with supplies for food, etc. And whether I should say turtle or snail. Then on October 2, 2009, I looked up and saw immediately in front of me, low in the sky, a cloud shaped perfectly like a snail. It did not take any imagination. It was very detailed. Then it turned into a turtle. Again, no need for any imagination. Perfect detail. Then back to a snail. So then I knew. Yes, tell the people this story to help them to understand to prepare for the Great Tribulation. But now in May 2014, God is now helping me to understand even better what He was showing me back in 2009. I did not think about it in 2009 but, both the snail and the turtle are listed in Lev. 11:29-30 as unclean creeping things!
And Peter saw unclean creeping things descend from the sky! Acts 10:12 "Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air".
It says Peter saw all manner of these things, so Peter saw snails and turtles Just as I also did!
So now in May 2014, I am now realizing that The Almighty was not only telling me to tell the people to prepare for the Great Tribulation, But also, to tell them that these things are cleansed and that during the Great Tribulation, we are to arise, kill, and eat the previously unclean animals which are now cleansed by Christ at His Crucifixion. Just like Peter, I did not fully understand at first. But now I do and I hope you do too.
Below are some drawings I found online, similar to what I saw in this cloud. These are not perfect representations of the clouds I saw but similar. I post these pics to help you understand how perfectly detailed the clouds were.

UPDATE: Another Major Confirmation
On the weekly Sabbath of Aug.15, 2015, I shared with the local congregation my testimony that Jesus had showed me the snail and turtle in the clouds a few years ago. I explained that it was Jesus' way of telling me to tell the people to prepare for the Great Tribulation and to do so by accepting that He had cleansed animal meats for food. Then the very next day, today Aug.16, I received another major confirmation! My wife usually receives a free comic/cartoon in her email each day. Guess what she received today? It was a cartoon of a snail and a turtle! Wow! It was a parody of the traditional story of the hare/rabbit and the tortoise/snail. But instead of including a rabbit, it was a snail and turtle! The 2 specific types of animals that I had seen in the sky/clouds. Plus the name of the Comic is "B.C". which we all recognize as usually meaning "Before Christ", as in the old covenant years. With these initials having a biblical meaning, it adds even more weight to the fact that the receipt of today's comic/image was not coincidence but rather with biblical meaning. There is no way this could be coincidence having received it the very next day after sharing the testimony as well as being a snail and turtle, no rabbit. It was a snail and turtle, just as I had seen in the sky.
snail turtle comic
You can verify this specific B.C. comic by clicking here. Notice also that it includes birds. The kind of birds is not specified. But remember that in Peter's vision, he saw creeping things as well as fowls of the air (birds, the kind also not specified in Acts 10)! In this comic, the moment that the turtle and snail pass each other, represents the moment that the snail in the clouds turned into a turtle, and then back again.
So Jesus is confirming again that He has cleansed animal meats by bringing about these great miracles of which I am testifying about. Our local congregation is seeing the manifestation of miracles, even as the disciples saw manifestations of miracles in their time. This helps confirm the presence of The Holy Spirit and truth!
Also today, we went to a museum where a man was demonstrating using a blow gun. He said that the Native American Indians used this type of blow gun to kill squirrel, birds, etc! And he specifically mentioned squirrel first. Which is also significant because I had also made a point yesterday of telling my congregation another testimony of when Jesus had told me and others to prepare to eventually eat squirrels.

UPDATE Aug. 20, 2015: Another Miracle Confirmation!
Today, Aug. 20 2015, a brother (in Christ) of mine told me that he saw a commercial on the internet where a turtle and snail and rabbit and other animals all appeared in the commercial. This is the man (and his wife) who I shared the testimony with on Aug.15th, above! So there is no way that this can be coincidence. The commercial was also a cartoon, as was the other above confirmation! For a snail and turtle both to be in the commercial as was the comic strip that my wife received, these are not coincidences!

Objection: "He created certain animals unclean".
Answer: Actually there is nothing in the scriptures to indicate that The Almighty created any animal unclean. The first instance of where we read about a difference between clean and unclean animals is when the animals boarded Noah's Ark. The unclean animals (which could not be eaten during the trip) boarded the ark by 2's. That is one pair, one male and one female of each species. The clean animals, which could be eaten, boarded by 7 pairs, that is 7 males and 7 females.
Genesis 7:2 "Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female".

But we must also notice that after they came off the Ark, The Almighty declared all animal meats cleansed and acceptable for food!
Gen. 9:1 "And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat."
This is very, very clear! God did not put any difference between clean and unclean animals after the flood. We do not see any difference between them in the original creation, nor do we see any difference between them after the Flood in the new world, until the ordinances were added after the 10 Commandments.
The Almighty Creator spoke the 10 Commandments with His own Voice. He even wrote the Commandments with His own Finger. He spoke the Commandments directly to the people. But the people rebelled and then The Almighty added the ordinances of unclean animals, etc., due to rebellion.

Galatians 3:19 "Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator".

Once Jesus came as the Lamb of God, He replaced all the old covenant ordinances of unclean animals, circumcision, killing of goats, offerings by fire, etc. All these things were added until Christ. But the 10 Commandments including the Sabbath Day (being the foundation of all the Feasts of THE LORD) are eternal until the New Heaven and New Earth. The law of the 10 Commandments is the law which Jesus spoke of in Matthew 5:18, not the old covenant laws of unclean animals, killing of goats, offerings of fire, circumcision. The context of Matthew 5 is very clearly the 10 Commandments, if you will read the entire chapter.
So we see in Genesis, that certain animal meats were not listed as unclean, then listed as unclean, then again declared cleaned, then declared unclean again in the book of Exodus. Then declared clean again in Mark and Acts. Clean and unclean animals are just a temporary ordinance for specific time frames.

Objection: God doesn't change.
Answer: Correct. God doesn't change. He saw the end from the beginning. The New Covenant was His Plan from the very beginning! The old pointed to the New. The old had a purpose of teaching us that we needed a Saviour, that we need to be spiritually clean, that we need our sins forgiven, that we need to draw near to God, that we need to be Saints of God. Jesus is our ultimate answer to all of that. He is our Fulfillment.
The Holy Spirit now enables us to go behind the veil and enter the Holy of Holies, without the blood of goats and sheep.
Animals have nothing to do with our salvation. Although The Almighty doesn't change, we do very clearly see in scripture there was a need for a change in the law. Hebrews 7:12. This verse is speaking about a change from the Levitical priesthood to the Priesthood of the Order of Melchisedec, whose is the Eternal Priesthood. We also see scriptures very clearly teaching against circumcision, killing of sacrifices, etc. Therefore it's actually very clear that there are changes in law. The law that isn't changed is the 10 Commandments.

Objection: "He allowed the legions to enter the herd of swine which violently ran into a lake for destruction. One would have to ask themselves why, if our LORD was very keen on not wasting food, would he allow such a thing."
Answer: The demons needed a host. The swine, whether clean or unclean would be a safer host. Jesus did not want the demons to enter the bodies of the humans around, nor the bodies of their transportation.
The need to get rid of the demons was a greater need than the need for food. Also, at the time, swine was still unclean. Jesus did not cleanse the swine until He died on the cross/stake thereby becoming the Passover Lamb for our sins, thereby replacing animals foreshadowing of the Need for a Divine Saviour. We cannot use "waste or waste not" as an excuse to deny the Cleansing Power of the Blood of Jesus.
The swine waste theory is only a theory and is not scriptural evidence that meats have not been cleansed.

Objection: "Isaiah 66:5-18 promises punishment for those who eat swine flesh."
Answer: Isa. 65-66 is in the context of pagan sacrifice and pagan practices.
It is not in the context of just eating pork for every day food consumption.
Isa. 65:3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face; that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense upon altars of brick;
4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Isa. 66:3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.

Very clearly the context in Isa. 65-66 is of pagan ritual use of animals. Not everyday normal eating. These verses cannot be used in any way to prove that animal meats have not been cleansed.

Objection: Acts 15:6-30 lay no greater burden upon (us) gentiles but that we abstain from meats offer to idols, from blood, from things strangled and from fornications."
Answer: It speaks of abstaining from meats offered to idols.
It says nothing about abstaining from unclean meats as in pork or shrimp. Again, it is talking about meats offered to idols, pagan sacrifice, pagan practices.

Objection: Unhealthy.
Answer: Don't confuse spiritually unclean with physically unhealthy. It is not scriptural to say that there were certain animals that were declared unclean because they were unhealthy. We cannot back that up with scripture! The scriptures never say or teach that certain animal meats are unhealthy.
Pork is no more physically unclean than beef and chicken. I have seen all the same anti-pork propaganda, all the claims of parasites, worms, etc. etc. But the truth is that any meat, including chicken and beef, can be extremely dangerous to your health if you do not cook it properly or due to unsanitary conditions.
Even beef in over indulgence can result in poor health. That doesn't mean that it is unclean. Poisonous mushrooms are unhealthy. But that doesn't make them unclean in the same essence as pork was under the old covenant. To try to compare pork with poison is a desperate attempt of people who must resort to non-biblical false assertions in order to try to prove their position.
If physically unhealthy always equaled sin, then we would be sinning every time we open a can of processed food. However, pork and other meats from Lev. 11 are not unhealthy! In fact, pork is very lean and more healthy than beef. Fish provide needed fatty acids that support our health! My grandmother ate pork, moderately, every day of her life and lived to be 94 years old! The people of the circumcision (modern day Pharisees) always want to condemn my dead grandmother to hell every time that I bring up this fact that pork did not poison her or cause her to die early! These Pharisees show their true colors! Their father is the devil. The fruit of the Hebrew roots movement is always evil.

Objection: If Jesus cleansed all animal meats, Why didn't He also cleanse dogs & cats?
Answer: He did cleanse all animal meats including dogs and cats. I would never eat dogs and cats but only because I don't want to. People in some nations do eat them. People in many nations are very puzzled by American's obsession with dogs and cats. The American mindset is very programmed by Hollywood to picture animals as almost human. But culture in other nations is very different. Jesus is God over the entire Earth. What is acceptable to Him to be eaten in Korea is also acceptable for Him to be eaten in America. Of course it would be morally wrong to eat a specific individual pet that we love dearly. No one is saying that you should. But in general and worldwide, it is not a sin for a human to eat dogs & cats which are just one more species among thousands. An animal is an animal. Period.

Divine Confirmation:

Within a very few short minutes after adding this to the article, I looked online trying to find some darts to purchase. I very quickly came to a review which read, "I came here for vacation and bought these. I went back home to Korea and shot a couple dogs, they work great and the dog was down within seconds".
To find this review so very quickly after posting these exact words on this article, cannot be coincidence. I serve a great big God that sees and hears everything that I do and He works miracles. He speaks to His people. He leads and confirms. There were many miracles in the bible and we are still living in bible times right now! I understand that we cannot go by miracles and supernatural happenings alone. We must use scripture first and primarily. There are tons of people out there that are receiving divine supernatural words and visitations/visions/dreams etc from the devil. Not every divine event is from The Almighty Creator. But when scripture and divine events both agree, then we do not have to fear and we know that it is The Holy Spirit that is moving, and not the enemy. If we are truly living in the end times and near to the Return of Jesus Christ, then we should be expecting supernatural events and miracles if we are truly His.

Objection: There are unclean birds in Revelation 18:2.
Answer: Rev. 18:2 "And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird".

We must understand that the bible sometimes uses the symbolism of animals for angels and humans. In Rev. 8:13, we see an angel heralding in the last 3 woes (last 3 Trumpets).
Rev. 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

But in the original Greek, the word for "angel" in this verse means a bird. The NASB correctly translates it as an eagle. But we know that it's not literally a bird. It's actually an angel. In Rev. 4:7, we see angels looking like birds.
Rev. 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

We also know that saved humans are called sheep. Unsaved humans are called goats. Also Jesus called the unsaved dogs and swine. Matt.7:6 And John the baptizer called the Pharisees vipers/snakes.
So we cannot look at Revelation 18:2 and declare that there are still unclean animals which cannot be eaten. Food is not the context. The context is the fall of Babylon. It is saying that Babylon, both the literal city of Rome and the spiritual Babylon of the false church system (Catholic, Lutheran, Islam, Baptist, protestant, etc. all denominations of man) are filled with unclean/unsaved people and unclean fallen angels, and will share in its destruction.

However, there is a connection between Rev.8:2 unclean bird and Acts 10. In both locations, there are unclean birds. But in Acts 10, those people who refuse to believe that Jesus cleansed all animals for food, declare that those unclean birds in Acts 10 are referring to Gentiles. Yet Jesus did give opportunity for the Gentiles to become cleansed and be drafted into the spiritual Israelite family. Therefore if the birds in Acts 10 represent people who can become saved by the Blood of Jesus, then those animals as well can be cleansed, and the unclean birds in Rev. 18:2 are fallen angels or people who have not been cleansed yet by the Blood of Jesus.
In no way, shape or form can Revelation 18 be used to prove that animal meats were not cleansed. Just the opposite.

Please take the time to go into deep fasting and prayer and calling out to the Almighty to receive divine revelation. Study is great. Study is good. But we are not to rely on our own understanding. We need divine revelation and let The Holy Spirit teach us.

Do you disagree? We encourage you to take your time in prayer & fasting as you continue to examine this subject. Many times, it takes days-weeks, even years to undo man's doctrines or traditional thinking. It's a process. Many times, just reading websites is not enough. We must be willing to take the time to talk to our LORD & Savior Jesus Christ in much prayer & fasting, and continual repentance and continued growth in spiritual maturity. We should pray that He remove all deception from us & always be willing to change as He continues to teach us. If we have not changed anything that we believe in 12 months, we are not growing enough in His Truth. We must continue to grow every year until we reach full maturity to the full stature of Jesus Christ. Eph.4:11-16. May Jesus continue to bless you in all of your seeking for His Truth.

URGENT: We must accept that Christ cleansed the animals and we must eat these animals!
Do not call what The Almighty has cleansed "unclean". It is rebellious and disobedient to call it unclean. It is rejection of God's provisions and blessings. Acts 10:15 is a command of The Almighty for us to not call these animals unclean. It is ungrateful and it is rejection of the Power/Blood of Christ! This is a salvation issue! We must accept that Jesus cleansed what had previously been unclean animals. If we reject this fact, we reject Christ and His Blood has no effect upon us.

Another reason we need to accept that Jesus did cleanse all meats is the fact that the mark of the beast will not be on pork products! The Muslims will outlaw the sale of pork and other products that were previously forbidden under the Old Covenant. If you accept that Jesus did cleanse all meats, God will provide more food for you during the great tribulation.
